2016 Highlights

In 2016, we empowered our associates to make better benefits choices and enhanced our parental leave and flexible working policies. We also celebrated ten years of PVH HealthMatters.

We launched PVH University (“PVH U”), our corporate university, globally in 2016 and offered more than 200 classroom courses, adapted by region. PVH U OnDemand, the portal for e-learning content, offers more than 2,000 online courses and videos, which are available to all corporate associates globally in 13 languages. This year, PVH U was recognized as one of the top three corporate universities in HR.com’s LEAD Awards.

We introduced a Leaders Who Lunch series in which associates have the opportunity to discuss current business topics with a senior leader. We hosted sessions with our Chief Operating and Financial Officer, Michael Shaffer, who addressed the changing retail landscape.

We replaced our maternity, paternity, and adoption leave policies in the U.S. with a comprehensive parental leave policy, which covers any parent who adopts or fosters a child, as well as any partner or spouse of a birthing mother. The policy includes a more consistent salary over an extended period for eligible associates. We also implemented a Flex Back To Work Program, allowing for a more gradual transition back to work following parental leave.

We introduced tools and resources to help our associates navigate our robust range of benefits, take full advantage of their benefits and make the right choices for themselves and their families. For example, we created a customized benefits portal for U.S. associates with interactive tools to help them research and select medical plans and launched a new global human resources and payroll solution (Workday) in the U.S. and Canada that will be rolled out globally, starting in Asia in 2017.

We developed comprehensive benefits for PVH associates working at Hawassa Industrial Park. We also proposed an on-site health clinic for workers in our joint venture.

January 2017 marked the tenth anniversary of PVH HealthMatters. Nearly 2,900 associates participated in HealthMatters initiatives in 2016, and in January 2017, we expanded the PVH HealthMatters program to our 500 retail associates in Canada.

We linked our associate wellbeing rewards program (for associates who demonstrate healthy behaviors) with our environmental ambitions by offering associates the opportunity to select rewards online. Approximately 90% of qualifying associates selected this option, allowing us to save nearly 8,000 paper and plastic rewards cards.
