At 205 W 39th Street, the past and present converge. More than just a New York City address, the longtime home of the Calvin Klein brand also contains the Calvin Klein atelier, representing decades of design innovation, cultural influence and a uniquely Calvin Klein approach to fashion.
The atelier is where Creative Director of Calvin Klein Collection Veronica Leoni and her team created two bespoke looks for Teyana Taylor’s third annual Pre-Met Gala Burlesque experience, The Dirty Rose, which took place on May 3.
The final looks completed Taylor's vision for the evening, with the Oscar-nominated star of One Battle After Another wearing a hand-embroidered crystal and pearl embellished bodysuit with an internal corset, micro spaghetti straps and a fringed crystal and pearl hem line. Completed with an oversized fringed ivory organza coat and nappa leather gloves.
Throughout the brand’s history, Calvin Klein has dressed some of the most influential figures in fashion, art and entertainment. From creating viral red carpet moments to outfitting iconic performances, the brand continues to shape the cultural conversation in a way that only they can.
Collaborations like this reflect the brand’s longstanding legacy of craft, creativity and cultural relevance—brought to life by Veronica and our teams on W 39th St.
