Insignia Design Group and G-III Apparel Group Partner to Launch Vilebrequin Neckwear

The Happy Week Tie: Iconic ‘Vilebrequin’ Swimwear Prints to Be Featured in Collection Debuting This Summer

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 3, 2015-- PVH Corp.'s [NYSE:PVH] Insignia Design Group announced it is partnering with G-III Apparel Group to launch a neckwear collection this summer under G-III’s Vilebrequin brand. The collection will feature the iconic prints for which the swimwear brand is known.

"One of the strongest trends across the men's fashion and accessories category is prints," said David Sirkin, President, Dress Shirts for PVH, who is responsible for the operation of the Company's Insignia Design Group. "We are excited to team up with a brand like Vilebrequin that is synonymous with iconic prints and high quality product. We believe consumers will embrace the adaptation of Vilebrequin’s prints from swimwear to neckwear."

The collection will feature the patterned artwork from the swim trunk collection and will include neck ties, bow ties and pocket squares made of fine Italian silk twill, all printed and made in Italy. Like the Vilebrequin swimwear currently available, ties will be available for both men and boys. Ties are constructed with ultra-light weight double woven linings. Bow ties are printed on the classic silk twill and the pocket squares are on either the silk twill or a silk/ cotton voile.

This marks the first in a series of planned lines between the two brands and the collection will be available in-stores in May 2015.
