PVH Recognized on Barron’s 2021 List of 100 Most Sustainable Companies

PVH ranked No. 19 on the 2021 Barron’s 100 Most Sustainable Companies List. This marks the third consecutive year PVH has been named to this prestigious list.

In an unusual year marked by global crises, Barron’s highlights how American companies have stepped up, increasing their efforts to mitigate their impact on the environment, as well as bolster employee welfare, community health and customer satisfaction. The publication also notes these companies’ financial performance: The top 100 ranked companies having an average combined return of 21.9% in 2020, beating the S&P 500 index’s overall average, and outpacing the stock market, year over year, since the ranking was first released in 2018.

Barron’s annual ranking of public companies measures the 1,000 largest publicly traded companies, defined by market capitalization, incorporated and headquartered in the United States. Rankings are based on performance in five key areas: shareholders, employees, customers, community and the planet. Barron’s, a prestigious business publication, partnered with Calvert Research & Management to create the ranking.

PVH continues to drive fashion forward for good. Below is a selected highlight of our most recent initiatives:

  • Following his inauguration, President Biden signed an executive order to initiate the process of re-entering the United States into the Paris Agreement to combat climate change. Building upon our support of this step, PVH recently endorsed “America Is All In” calling for a national mobilization on climate and recovery.

  • In partnership with Fashion for Good, Kering and global textile manufacturer Arvind Limited, PVH supported a new two-year pilot project from Fashion for Good innovator Materra, to test – and ultimately scale- their resource efficient cotton farming technology.
