PVH Pledges to Help Bridge the Gender Gap

PVH Corp. joins in the celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2020, recognizing globally the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. This year's international theme, #EachforEqual, highlights an equal world is an enabled world and that when we work collectively we can accelerate gender parity. There has been a lot of progress made in this space but, without question, there is still a long way to go.

PVH, one of the largest apparel companies in the world, is committed to playing its part in the global fight to advance gender parity within the fashion industry and around the world. PVH signed this year the Paradigm for Parity (P4P) pledge and joined a coalition of business leaders dedicated to addressing the corporate leadership gender gap and to help establish a new norm in which everyone, regardless of gender, have equal power, status and opportunity.PVH’s goal is to achieve full gender parity by 2030, with a near-term goal of women holding at least 30% of senior roles. PVH is proud to have female directors attain 1/3 of the board of director seats.

By signing this pledge, PVH has committed to:

  • Minimize unconscious bias in how we attract, select, develop and reward associates

  • Significantly increase the number of women in senior operating roles Measure targets at every level and communicate progress and results regularly

  • Base career progress on business results and performance, not on presence Identify women of potential and give them sponsors, as well as mentors

PVH was recognized in the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) 2020 Top Company for Executive Women list, which acknowledges companies on every aspect of women’s advancement, including succession planning, profit-and-loss roles, gender pay parity, support programs and work-life balance programs.
